Who We at First Baptist Church are…

The primary reason we meet is to express our love to God for His grace and compassion extended through His Son Jesus Christ. We do this corporately but also through the Bible study experience. We hope you experience this joy today!

Our purpose is to equip our members to express their faith in practical and tangible ways. We want to help you identify your gifts and talents and then provide creative avenues for you to express them.

In the midst of a frantic lifestyle, we all need someone who we can call our friend! At First Baptist Church of Palm Beach Gardens, we provide an atmosphere where all people can build bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Our circle is ever-widening and there is a place for you!

To us, gathering around the open word of God is vital because it provides practical solutions for the challenges of today’s complex world. Classes and departments are organized to provide learning experiences that are consistent with personal learning readiness. Each session is Biblically based, Christ-centered, need-oriented and life application focused. We utilize varied curriculums based upon age, life station and personal need.

For every person at every age level there are a myriad of activities – seminars, retreats, fellowships and focused conferences that will allow you the opportunity to grow and mature in your journey of faith.

What to Expect

  • A Warm Welcome

The first thing you’ll experience at First Baptist Church of Palm Beach Gardens is a smile and a warm welcome from our church family.

  • A Traditional Setting

Casual or traditional – it’s up to you. We believe that the worship experience is much more important than what we wear. You will find some people in jeans and tee shirts, and others in suits with ties or in dresses. You won’t be out of place whether you decide to dress up or dress down. We only ask you be modest.

  • A Worshipful Experience

Our Sunday morning service is usually about an hour long. An order of service is included in the bulletin you’ll receive when you come in. If you’re visiting us for the first time we’d appreciate you filling out a visitors card in the pew after you take your seat, just so we can follow up and see how you enjoyed sharing in worship with us.

  • A Family Friendly Atmosphere

If you have small children we do provide a nursery service during our Sunday morning service, however if you’d prefer to keep your child with you throughout our time of worship we’d be glad to have them with us in the auditorium as well.

Services

We want to invite you to be our guest on Sunday Morning’s starting at 9:45 for Bible Study and Sunday Morning Worship. Our Bible Study Groups are designed with a concern for the needs of the individual, the couple and family. Our worship service is uplifting, inspiring and boldly proclaims the word of God.  We believe that you will find First Baptist Church to be an exciting place with a friendly atmosphere.  We also have an exciting Sunday evening service and Wednesday programs for all ages.  Don’t miss out!
